The Isotrak Group, provider of market-leading fleet management and telematics solutions, today announced an agreement with one of the UK’s leading chilled distribution specialist PCL, part of the Bidcorp Group, to renew its partnership for a further two years. Since implementing Isotrak’s Job Management system and CANbus solution five years ago, PCL has improved its fleet operations with real-time visibility of timed deliveries and collections resulting in enhanced customer service.

With a fleet comprising 250 HGV vehicles and 300 temperature-controlled fridge trailers, PCL is one of the UK’s leading providers of 24/7 chilled distribution from its four nationwide depots, specialising in the timed transport of dairy and salad products. Real-time job tracking via Isotrak’s plan vs. actual module enables PCL to provide accurate delivery status to their customers, which includes Arla Foods, one of the UK’s major dairy product providers, who require precisely timed deliveries of their milk loads.

Stuart Frith, Head of Operations at PCL said: “Isotrak’s renewed focus and commitment to service delivery is impressive. There has been a step change in the way we are working together, meaning we’re able to convert the benefits into better results for our own customers.”

Isotrak Group Chairman Jim Sumner, commented: “We are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with PCL. While we will continue to provide quality products that match their needs, our aim is to work with PCL and fully support them in surpassing their customers’ expectations. We are proud our customer service and satisfaction levels now set the standard in our sector and it is no surprise this is reflected in the Group delivering record sales growth.”
