Regional Account Manager

Isotrak is a world class leader in the development and deployment of Telematics-based Fleet Transportation Solutions and Logistics services. Our aim is to continually develop and deploy our Award Winning Active Transport Management (ATMSi) solution along with complementary products and services for fleet operators. Our objective is to help reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies and to enhance the quality of service they provide to their customers.

As part of the broader Sales Team, the Account Manager will be responsible for field sales and marketing activities for all Isotrak products and services within the given region. The primary emphasis will be on lead generation and new account development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding Isotrak’s targets for new customer acquisition, net unit growth and revenue growth
  • New Prospect development via cold calling and general lead-generation activities
  • Establish, develop, further grow business relationships with Partner companies
  • Generate new sales opportunities by engaging accounts jointly identified with ‘Partner’ company
  • Train, Educate, Evangelize Partner company sales and management staff, on an on-gong basis, about Isotrak products and services
  • Attend approved Tradeshows and Networking Events
  • Meet or exceed sales and net growth quota for the assigned territory
  • Keep accounts knowledgeable and up to date on current and new product offerings
  • Perform required administrative functions such as managing travel and other expenses within corporate guidelines
  • Must maintain updated and accurate account information in SalesForce.com: including New Leads and Opportunities, Account Contacts, Forecasts, Revenue Generation
  • Provide support to existing customers and resolve any customer-related issues and / or liaise with the appropriate department(s) in an effort to do so
  • Travel required as necessary (50 – 75%)
  • Time allocation approximations: 50% lead generation, 25% customer engagement, 25% customer follow up, general office and administrative functions

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Sales capabilities required to develop account throughout the interest, development, and close phases
  • Knowledge of Fleet Management and related systems
  • Transportation Industry background and knowledge
  • Professional Sales Skills and associated training
  • Proven negotiation skills within large / Enterprise based organizations
  • Strong Customer Support skills
  • Meets or exceeds quotas on a consistent basis
  • Motivated and Self Directed
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationships within the Transportation vertical / community
  • Ability to build strong long-term relationships with accounts and key customers

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 + years of successful Sales and / or Management experience
  • Successful experience and background preferred in:
  • GPS / Fleet Management / Route Planning and Optimization / Yard Management
  • Microsoft Office proficient with mid-level computer and operating system understanding
  • Proven and verifiable successes
  • Team player and contributor
  • Must be able to travel as required 50-75%
